About the book — This is Christina Pouagare's first poetry collection. She started writing poetry when she was six years old, and this is a selection of the poems she wrote between the ages of six and twelve. The only exception is an epic-length poem, which she wrote at age 17.
About the author — Christina Pouagare is the youngest granddaughter of renowned Greek Cypriot poet Costas Montis. She was born in 1992 in Tampa, Florida, and a year later she moved with her family to Ohio, where she has lived ever since. She loves books, theater, movies, and music, but her greatest passion by far is dance. She has been dancing since she was seven years old. She has just graduated from Miami Valley School in Dayton, Ohio, and she will pursue further studies at Miami University.
